The 6-A internship was a rewarding experience for me. I started the assignment with little background in the field. Through the mentorship and interaction with other engineers, I was able to design a company product after six months. It was a unique opportunity to see where academia and industry meet.

The J. Francis Reintjes Excellence in 6-A Industrial Practice Award was presented at the EECS Spring Celebration Awards Ceremony on May 17, 2019 to an outstanding 6-A student, Zachary Zumbo (Cadence, Chelmsford, MA) who demonstrated outstanding performance in his 6-A work assignments.
